As part of its commitment to supporting the trade through the low-carbon transition, Wolseley Group has partnered with Haier HVAC Solutions, a global leader in smart energy and connected home innovation. The partnership expands Wolseley’s renewables range and improves access to low-carbon technologies for UK installers. From October, Haier’s range of renewable products – including air source heat pumps, smart controls, and battery storage systems - will be made available through Plumb Centre, Wolseley’s national trade merchant brand. Known for its stock availability, service, and product range, Plumb Centre has over 420 branches nationwide and a broad selection of heating and renewable solutions to help installers succeed on every project.

This partnership builds on Wolseley Group’s growing investment in the renewables market. Earlier this year it launched Renewables Centre, a brand that supports installers with training, accredited system design, and expert technical guidance as they build capability in low-carbon systems. Renewables Centre provides a fully integrated support package for installers from MCS-accredited system design to application support, commissioning guidance, and hands-on training. With two dedicated training centres open in Shrewsbury and Swansea, demand has been so high for training courses that additional dates have already been added to meet installer interest.
