Wolseley’s Plumb & Parts division has signed a 12-month sponsorship deal for Fix Radio’s Heating and Plumbing Show, making them the first national partner for Fix Radio, the builders’ radio station.

The Heating and Plumbing Show, hosted by Andy ‘I love plumbing’ Cam brings together the biggest characters in the industry to share stories, jokes and chat about the latest industry trends.

Fix Radio is the home of music, entertainment, and information for UK tradespeople. It’s Heating and Plumbing show is broadcast every Wednesday 2-3pm, and repeated the same day, between 10-11pm.

Louis Timpany, CEO and founder of Fix Radio, said: “We’re very happy to welcome Wolseley on board at this very exciting time for Fix Radio. This is perfect brand alignment for Wolseley – our Heating and Plumbing Show has a dedicated, loyal and growing fan base. This will only grow as we scale our business across the country.”

In the last four years Fix Radio has been built from the ground-up with tradespeople in mind, providing a mixture of authentic trade presenters, up-beat music and a schedule designed around the tradesperson’s day.

Today, Fix Radio is the only radio station targeting a dedicated audience of construction tradespeople and is currently moving from London and Manchester DAB transmitters to a full national DAB license, to make it available nationally.

The radio station will start broadcasting across the country from Tuesday 3rd May to an audience of around 2.2 million tradespeople throughout the UK.

Chris Taylor-Hone, National Director at Wolseley Plumb and Parts, said: “Wolseley and Fix Radio are both experiencing periods of significant growth, so it’s great that we are entering these exciting new times together. The Heating & Plumbing Show is one of the highlights on the Fix Radio schedule and its popularity will only grow when it starts to be broadcast nationally.”
