Plumb Centre, part of the Wolseley Group, has announced a suite of new initiatives aimed at helping customers find and order parts more easily over the heating season.

Leading the new initiatives is the launch of the new Plumb Centre App, which is   designed to help trade professionals find the parts they need faster and easier than ever before.

Plumb Centre has also significantly increased the number of Parts Hubs nationwide to improve same-day availability in its 400+ branches. The specialist merchant has also enhanced its next-day delivery service to ensure customers get access to critical heating parts quickly and has increased its stock holding to make over 180,000 product lines available for the season.

The new Plumb Centre app marks a significant step forward in the brand’s digital offering for its customers, bringing a range of time-saving features to the fingertips of installers.

The app, which is available to download on iOS and Android, has been created following considerable customer research and user testing and offers a host of benefits, including:

  • Finding parts – Customers can use diagrams to quickly identify and purchase parts the parts they need, check stock availability and pay what they need at a click of a button.  
  • Plumb Centre’s branch expertise – customers can easily contact experts through the app as well as find directions to their local branches.
  • Personalised experience - customers can check the status of their orders, manage and pay their account on their phone and manage invoices and statements without losing valuable time. Regular users can personalise their experience to store their most ordered products and preferred branches.

The app also offers a mobile optimised, user friendly experience for Plumb Pro, the new membership and rewards scheme launched by Plumb Centre earlier this year.  Anyone signed up to PlumbPro membership can use the app to redeem their rewards and check their cashback.
